Egypt pursues communication to hold urgent meeting of Arab foreign ministers

Egypt is pursuing intensive communications with different Arab states within the context of coordinating Arab positions before holding a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, which is scheduled to be held on January 24 at the headquarters of the Arab League's general trusteeship.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa said that during the last few hours, a number of Arab FMs have held talks, including the foreign ministers of Syria, Jordan, Morocco, and Algeria.
Moussa confirmed that these talks and communications were held between the Arab states in the context of wide consultation aimed at reaching an agreement on points of view toward the issues raised up in the Arab arena.
