Report: Iran strengthens presence on disputed islands with Emirates

The French magazine Le Point has reproted that Iran continues to strengthening its its presence on the islands of Greater and Lesser Tanb, located on a strategic position in the area.

The two islands are under dispute between Tehran and the United Arab Emirates and the latter is demanding to have sovereignty on them.

The magazine continued that Iran has recently allotted sums to set up infrastructure projects in the two islands including schools, roads and hospitals.
