Israel continues shelling against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occpied occupied part of south Lebanon. On Friday, the occupation artillery positioned in al-Tibeh and al-Zaffata areas shelled Zouter west and Zouter East, Yahmour, Kafra and Yater towns. The bombardment covered the Litani river course, al-Hamra farm and the Arnoun areas.

The shelling also covered the outskirts of Lweizeh amd Aqmata as well as al-Tasseh areas, the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan and al-Rafi mountain heights in al-Tuffah district. The shelling was accompanied by intensive sorties carried out by the Israeli helicopters.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance also intensified attacks against the Israeli occupation troops.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that resistance forces attacked the Israeli position in Beaufort and the attack resulted in damaging one of the Israeli vehicles and the wounding of the soldiers manning it.

Another Lebanese resistance group ambushed a joint Israeli - South Lebanon Army militia patrol along the Rayhan - Sujoud road, using rockets and causing direct hits to vehicles and forces.
