Egypt takes part in G-15 investment initiative

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is to launch a new initiative today to help members of the Group of 15 developing countries, which includes Egypt and Algeria, strengthen investment cooperation with each other.
Egypt is one of the seven G-15 countries that have agreed to participate in the initiative to negotiate bilateral investment treaties, as called for at the G-15's 1997 summit in Malaysia.
