Japanese agriculture minister in Morocco

Japanese Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forests Shoichi Nakagawa arrived Thursday in Rabat for talks with Moroccan officials on ways of boosting the partnership between the two countries in matters of fishing and related sectors.
The three-day trip by the Japanese official will be marked by the signing of an accord for the building of a pilot fishermen village in Morocco in collaboration with Japan.
The project is part of a large-scale Moroccan-Japanese cooperation program providing, inter alia, for the consolidation of partnership in seamen vocational training, halieutic resources protection, fish farming and processing.
