Moroccan and Egyptian foreign ministers hold phone talks
Morocco-Egypt, Politics, 1/8/1999

Moroccan Foreign Affairs Minister Abdellatif Filali held Thursday phone talks with his Egyptian peer, Amr Moussa. The two men exchanged views on the meeting of Arab foreign ministers, to be held on January 24 at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo.

Moussa told the press in the Egyptian capital that he also contacted the foreign ministers of Syria, Jordan and Algeria. The talks are part of inter-Arab consultations on the developments on the Arab scene. The meeting, which was initially scheduled to be held on January 6, is expected to be topped by the issue of Iraq.
