Asfour opposes delaying announcement of Palestinian state

The director of the negotiation department in the Palestinian government, Hassan Asfour, opposed the postponement of announcing the Palestinian state until after May 4, to await the results of the early Israeli elections. He said earlier this week "I do not think that the Palestinians will cancel this day," May 4, to announce the state of Palestine, "under any condition."
