Mubarak visits Syria today to discuss Middle East peace process developments

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa has announced that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will visit Syria today and that he will during this visit hold talks with Syrian President Hafez al-Assad dealing with several key issues.
In statements to reporters he made in Cairo on Thursday night, Moussa stated that talks between the two Presidents will be on "current conditions in the region, foremost being the Middle East peace process developments and efforts exerted to salvage it from the current stumbling."
Moussa added that the two Presidents will discuss issues of mutual concern, bilateral relations and means of strengthening and supporting them in various fields."
