Kuwaiti Arab League delegate: Iraq is a danger to the region

Kuwait's permanent delegate at the Arab League, ambassador Abdul al-Kenaei, stated that Iraq still threatens the area and not only Kuwait, pointing to the Iraqi information attack on some Arab states, whether Egypt or Jordan or the Arab League's secretary general.

Following the talks he held with AL Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid, al-Kenaei said, "I made consultations with the league's secretary general regarding the general Arab situation and arrangements concerning convening a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers on January 24."

He added, "I have assured to the secretary general Kuwait's adherence to the success of the consultative meeting for the Arab foreign ministers to come out with a joint vision regarding the current situation."
