Producing Egyptian potatoes without pesticides

The Egyptian Ministry of Industry was able to produce potatoes that are totally free of pesticides according to the conditions on exporting Egypt potato crops according to the GATT agreements, which forbid the use of any chemical pesticides on potatoe exports.
The production of this crop is expected to commercially help settle the crisis with the European countries, the main importers of Egyptian potatoes.
The chief of the governmental institute for general agricultural research, Dr. Magadi Madkour, said that exporting potatoes without pesticides has currently prevailed.
