Rabat: file of the Sahara will be closed this year

The Moroccan public affairs minister Ahmad al-Huleimi has announced that Morocco seeks to close the file of "Western Sahara" ultimately during the current year 1999. In a televised interview, al-Huleimi said " We have the will to do so" in remarks to the determination of the UN to make a referendum in December this year.
The Moroccan minister, on the other hand, did not disclose the situation concerning disputes which are still standing in relaunching the operations of determining the identity, issuance of lists of names and signing protocols relating referendum.
