AL chief meets with Chinese FM

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid met on Monday in Cairo with Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the AL and China to develop bilateral relations at all levels.
The two sides agreed to convene an annual meeting during the opening session of the UN General Secretariat. They also agreed on exchanging visits and messages on regional, Arab and international developments as well as on issues of common interest.
