Partnership agreement to be signed between Egypt and the European Union

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Fathi El-Shazeli stated that he expects a partnership agreement to be signed between Egypt and the European Union during the coming few weeks.
He said the two sides were able to narrow the number of issues of conflict as many problem areas were resolved, yet many topics remain that probably need political intervention.
He added that these subjects include the issue of the final figures for the amount of agricultural goods Egypt is allowed to export to the European Union, as well as the issue of resettlement, especially for the subjects of third-world countries and human rights.
