Kidnapping in Yemen a revenge for striking Iraq
Yemen-USA, Politics, 1/4/1999

The British Sunday Telegraph reported on Sunday that kidnapping of British tourists in Yemen was carried out in revenge for the bombarding of Iraq. The paper added that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation has proof that those who were dragged into kidnapping foreigners in Yemen were trained in camps supervised by exiled Saudi billionaire Osama Bin Laden.

The paper added that ten men working for US intelligence who were sent to Yemen to investigate the release of Western hostages believe that the kidnapping of the 16 tourists was a direct act of revenge of the British - US air strikes on Iraq.
