First exhibition for Egyptian products in Iran

An exhibition of the Egyptian products in Iran will be organized for the first time since the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979 on June 21 - 26, 1999.

The chairman of the Egyptian committee for exhibitions and foreign markets who is also responsible for running the exhibition, Muhammad Saeed Saleh, said in a press statement he made on Wednesday in Cairo that holding the conference in Iran is of great importance because, "Iran is considered one of the largest markets in Asia and constitutes the main gate to the Egyptian products to have access to the markets of the Islamic states of the commonwealth league, whose only outlet is the Iranian market."

Saleh added in his statements, which were quoted by the Middle East News Agency, that the exhibition will contribute to developing investments and will be a good chance to relaunch joint ventures between the two countries' businessmen.
