Turkish-Israeli strategic dialogue

The Turkish Daily News on Tuesday quoted diplomatic sources in Ankara as saying that the coming round of strategic dialogue between the governments of Turkey and Israel will be held in February 1999 in Ankara.
The paper added that this tour will be dedicated to continuing discussions on topics already debated in the previous session, which took place last May in Tel Aviv. The paper added that this new tour completes talks held by the commander of the Turkish Air Force, Gen. Ilhan Kilic, in his visit to Israel at the beginning of this month.
This dialogue falls in the course of the military cooperation agreement signed between the two sides two years ago. It calls for maintaining cooperation in the areas of military manufacturing, military exercises and the exchange of intelligence information, MENA reported.
