New Lebanese compliant to April Understanding committee
Lebanon, Politics, 12/30/1998

Lebanon has lodged a new complaint against Israel to the April Understanding Monitoring Committee. The Lebanese complaint relates to Israel's demolition of six houses and attacks on agricultural fields in Arnoun.

Meanwhile, Lebanese political parties and national forces discussed on Tuesday in their periodic meeting developments in south Lebanon under Israeli policy and the recent Israeli attacks there by the occupation troops against the Lebanese civilians in the south and the western Bekaa.

The Lebanese parties and national forces hailed the role played by the Lebanese national resistance in confronting the Israeli repeated aggressions.

They called upon the Lebanese government to back the steadfastness of the Lebanese people in the villages and towns of southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa.
