Well-informed sources about the internal situation in Iraq stressed to the Kuwaiti daily al-Anba on Monday that the Iraqi authorities demanded large numbers of tents to accommodate thousands of soldiers whose centers and barracks were destroyed in the southern and central areas of Iraq during the recent Operation Desert Fox, which was carried out by the British and US troops against Iraq. Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Bajmal has stressed that Yemen seeks to settle border disputes with Saudi Arabia "amicably." In an interview with BBC radio on Monday, Bajmal did not rule out that Yemen will resort to international arbitration if it is not possible to reach an agreement that is satisfactory for the two sides.
