SLA troops withdraw from Jezzine-area positions

Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army troops withdrew from positions in the Jezzine - Kfar Falous area of south Lebanon today, the Lebanese National News Agency reported, saying that Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri dismissed the withdrawal as meaningless.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss submitted a complaint to the April Understanding Monitoring Committee over the Israeli shelling of civilian and agricultural areas of Arnoun, the NNA said.
It added that the situation in south Lebanon, which has become more tense in recent days with the Israeli killing of a Lebanese woman and six of her children and the Lebanese resistance's retaliatory shelling into northern Israel, will be at the top of the Lebanese Cabinet's agenda in the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
