Former Algerian premier warns against a closed presidential elections

Former Algerian Prime Minister Mawloud Hamroush warned of the seriousness of holding closed presidential elections that would the government and delegitimize it, erasing the progress that took place in democratic practices and weakening the political parties.
Hamroush said that the coming presidential elections could have an opportunity to avoid a crisis if the nominations were doubled and also if the programs and the nominees for president emerged from the Algerian society with its different political trends.
This declaration comes among predictions that Hamroush may nominate himself to run in the early presidential elections.
