EU for Israel's total withdrawal from the Golan

The special envoy of the European Union on the Middle East peace process, Angel Moratinos, has asserted that the EU supports Israel's complete and total withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and seeks to resume negotiations on the Lebanese and Syrian tracks in order to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
In a statement to the London-based al-Wasat magazine, the EU envoy expressed deep concern over the ongoing setbacks in the Middle East peace process, stressing that the EU is making its utmost efforts to achieve peace.
