Egyptian - Moroccan businessmen's council is to meet in February
Egypt-Morocco, Economics, 12/28/1998

The Moroccan - Egyptian businessmen's council is scheduled to hold its second session in Cairo in February under the chairmanship of the Egyptian Businessmen's Assembly's chief, Saiid El-Tawil, and his Moroccan counterpart, Abd al-Rehim al-Hegougi.

The council was established during April, and the first session was held in May within the framework of the meetings of high joint committee headed by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and King Hassan II.

On the other hand, El-Tawil said the number of goods exempted from customs will amount to 400 between the two sides after five years, as the free trade accord that the two countries' leaders last May recommended the gradual exemption for five years on the exchanged goods whose customs duties do not exceed 2%.
