Finishing the first stage the industrial zone east Port Said

The first stage for the project of the free industrial zone in East Port Said, which takes place in 5 stages that will be be completed by year 2007, is finished with investments of 4.25 billion pound through international companies which presented offers for establishing factories to build a variety of products including electronics.
Ahmed Bahgat, the head of the company developing the industrial zone, which stated that achieving the first stage took place in only 32 days and comprised building the necessary main roads for the project running seven kilometers in length.
