51 investment funds in Bahrain

The number of investment funds registered in the Bahrain stock market reached 51 after Chase Manhattan Bank registered 12 funds in the stock market at one time. In a press statement today the director of stock market, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa told ArabicNews.com that the fact that Chase Manhattan Bank registered this number of funds shows great trust from one of the largest international banks in the Bahrain stock market and that this is related to new government measures that have contributed to reducing the duties on recording and registering these funds.
