Cheops to host visitors starting in January

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture decided to open the pyramid of King Cheops to visitors at the beginning of January after a closure that lasted for eight months during which the pyramid was restored and renovated, where the lighting and ventilation systems were changed to electronic control, enhancing the internal environment for the monuments of the pyramid. Meanwhile the director of the Giza Antiquities Authority, Dr. Zahi Hawass, pointed out that for the first time the room of Queen Anfeliad at the bottom of the pyramid was opened to visitors.
