Lebanese resistance attacks Galilee settlements in retaliation for Bekaa carnage

Lebanese resistance forces on Wednesday carried out a series of successful operations against the sites and patrols of the Israeli occupation forces and their allied militias.

Lebanese resistance forces also attacked several Israeli settlements in the Galilee in retaliation of the killings committed by the Israeli warplanes when they raided a village in the central sector of south Lebanon and killed a mother and six of her children.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials threatened to attack Lebanon and destroy its economy and infrastructure under the pretext of what they claimed was "limiting the activities" of the Lebanese resistance.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday expanded their bombardment against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. The bombardment resulted in shutting down schools in the Bint Jbeil and Marjyoun districts.

Meanwhile, an Israeli military spokesman said that 19 Israeli settlers were wounded in Kerayat Shemona in the attacks carried out by the Lebanese resistance against the Galilee settlements in retaliation for the Bekaa massacre. On Wednesday a huge funeral ceremony was held for the victims of the Israeli raids against the town of Jenta, resulting in the death if a mother and her six children and another citizen from the village.

The remains of the burnt bodies were put in coffins and held on the shoulders of hundreds of citizens who took part in the funeral, condemning Israel and the US and calling for "revenge for the blood of the martyrs." Lebanese political, party and religious figures and a large numbers of citizens took part in the funeral ceremony.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery on Wednesday morning bombarded Majdal Soloum, al-Sawannah, Khurbet Soloum located between al-Jmejmeh and al-Sultaniyah towns, Qabriha, Shaqra, Hadatha, Eita al-Jabal, Haris, Kafra, Yater, Jibal al-Butoum, Zibqin, Wadi al-Asheyeh and al-Salawqi valley. The enemy bombardment also targeted the outskirts of Deir Ames town near the residential areas.
