Public tv channel staff wear armbands to protest working conditions

The staff of the Moroccan public TV channel RTM will wear on Thursday armbands to press for an "earnest" dialogue on their material and professional problems, the Moroccan press union said.
The decision to wear the armbands was taken during a recent meeting between the Moroccan press union and representatives of RTM staff.
Journalists and technical staff of the second Moroccan channel 2M had observed a 1-hour halt of work last December 3 to protest against silence over their financial and professional grievances.
