Crown Prince chairs distribution of fast-breaking meals

Crown Prince Sidi Mohamed chaired Tuesday in Sale (near Rabat) the distribution of free fast-breaking meals to needy people.
This humanitarian operation is part of a nation-wide solidarity campaign launched during the fasting month of Ramadan. Nearly one million free meals will be distributed to the poor within the frame of this operation.
A solidarity week with the poor was organized last october in Morocco. About $ 9 millions were raised during the week which featured several artistic, cultural and musical fund-raising events. The proceeds were used for the rehabilitation of charity houses and for the improvement of their services and performances.
