Cairo University political science department pursues cooperation with Iraqi universities

The political science department at Cairo University decided to develop its relations with scientific and academic institutions in Iraq without any barriers or limits and making no consideration to UN sanctions.
The department released a statement in which it called on all Arab and Egyptian formal, and people's organizations to adopt a similar attitude to lift the sanctions imposed upon Iraq.
The statement said that the US - British attacks on Iraq caused harm worse than that which could be caused by the weapons of mass destruction and that the attacks were intended to address an insult to Arabs and Moslems.
