IAAF Council Cancels Sanctions Against Morocco

The council of the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) canceled the sanctions imposed on Morocco for denying entry visas to Israeli participants in the world cross-country championships, held last February in Marrakesh.
The IAAF council had decided to ban Morocco from hosting international competition.
The IAAF council, which took into account Morocco's efforts to ensure the success of the World cross-country championships, considered the file closed.
