Lebanese resistance escalate attacks against Israeli troops

A Lebanese resistance group on Monday detonated an explosive charge on the road to the Israeli occupation position in Zamraya in the eastern sector of south Lebanon while an armored patrol for the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army passed by, scoring a direct hit.

In a statement, the resistance said that simultaneously another Lebanese resistance force attacked Zamraya position using machine-guns and rockets. Direct hits were achieved on the position.

Moreover, Lebanese resistance forces on Monday attacked the Israeli occupation position in Ein Qenya, using rockets.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said the operation resulted in breaking down a 130 mm artillery which was shelling the liberated areas and setting fires in these areas.

Meanwhile, resistance forces attacked the occupation position in Tallet al-Ahmadeyah. Direct hits were scored.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation forces bombarded areas in Hasbaya the western Bekaa andthe surroundings of Jabal al-Daher and Ein Fajjour, using heavy artillery.
