Morocco and Egypt agree on lowering customs duties

Egypt and Morocco agreed lately to lower again their mutual customs duties in conformity with the commercial accord sealed last May between the two countries. The Two countries, whose Trade exchanges do not exceed $ 60 million, agreed to suppress gradually custom duties reaching 25 % and lower to 22 % the taxes exceeding 25 % percent.
Morocco and Egypt signed last march several commercial cooperation accords providing inter alia for the gradual establishment of a free-trade zone.
