Lebanese Cabinet discusses appointment of army, interior security leaders

The Lebanese Cabinet chaired by President Emile Lahoud and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss is to discuss today the appointment of leaders for the Lebanese Army and interior security forces.

They in addition will discuss the appointment of the heads of judicial police and administrative censorship especially the central inspection department, the civil service council and the accounting divan.

Governmental sources told ArabicNews.com that the meeting will tackle appointments in fields of mass media, television board of directors that its members resigned, beside specifying the private headquarter for the cabinet.

They will also discuss the water pollution in Beirut, the security situation and developments of situation in Middle East.
