French minister says Europe does not mean to harm Egyptian exports
Egypt-France, Economics, 12/17/1998
French Minister of Trade Jacques Dondoux stated that the countries of the European Union do not intend to impose any dumping fees on European imports of Egyptian cotton.
In press statements yesterday at the conclusion of his visit to Egypt, Dondoux told ArabicNews.com that these fees did not target only Egypt but India, Pakistan and China as well.
Dondoux said that a campaign named Egypt exports for 1999 will be implemented during a French exhibition that will be held in Cairo in May and will be inaugurated by French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin.
