Egypt cancels visa for Qataris

Egypt's ambassador in Qatar, Mohammed Abd El-Fattah Abd Allah, said that President Mubarak issued a decision to exempt Qataris from having a visa to enter Egypt. Qataris wishing to visit Egypt at the end of last year to were required to visit with visas for the first time in the history of relations between the two countries, due to the strained relations between Doha and Cairo. The decision to require visas was applied last summer for the first time.
