7 deficit in Jordan's 1999 budget

Sources in the Jordanian government today expected that the deficit in the 1999 budget would amount to 7.1% of the total local production of Jordan in 1999.
Government sources said the Cabinet discussed the budget at the beginning of current month, and then presented it to the parliament for approval.
The government expected that the budget deficit would amount to 9.6% during the current year, and the sources added that total expenditures are expected to amount to 2.16 billion Jordanian dinars.
