New Lebanese premier to visit Damascus

Orient Radio quoted Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss as saying on his expected visit to Damascus that there are "contacts with the Syrian leadership in this respect," noting that the visit may be made after his government wins the confidence of the Lebanese parliament.
Al-Hoss added that a Syrian-Lebanese economic meeting will be held on December 28 in Beirut under the chairmanship of the two countries' prime ministers.
