Hamas refuses to amend Palestinian charter

Hamas movement yesterday refused the Palestinian National Council's ratification of canceling the Palestinian charter's articles which call for the destruction of Israel.Following the PNC's session canceling the articles in the presence of US President Bill Clinton, the movement distributed a statement saying its members don't need to abolish the Palestinian memory and the Palestinian charter that affirms Palestinian rights and resistance.Moreover the statement confirmed that Hamas will pursue resistance until it achieves victory, liberation and ratification of the Palestinian people's rights without any change under the strain of spiritual defeat and balance of force.
