Israeli delegation to visit Cairo

A delegation from the Israeli Meretz movement will visit Cairo on Thursday under the chairmanship of Knesset member Yossi Sarid to discuss with Egyptian officials the result of US President Bill Clinton's visit to Israel and the Palestinian self-rule areas and the coordination with the Egyptian peace forces as well as methods of pressuring on the Israeli current government to implement the peace agreements.The delegation aims as well as at coordinating with the Egyptian peace groups to find methods of pressuring the current Israeli government to implement the peace obligations.Sarid is scheduled to meet with the president's political advisor Osama El-Baz and the chairman of the Egyptian peace association, former ambassador Salah Basuwni, to discuss the agreement of the Egyptian association's delegation to visit Israel in the coming month.The Israeli delegation will also discuss a plan to place pressure on the Israeli prime minister to implement the peace agreement signed with the Palestinians.
