El-Bashir urges the world to increase aid to avoid refugee disaster

The Organization of African Unity's secretary general, Salem Ahmed Salem, blamed African officials for the great refugee problems in the African continent.
Salem Ahmed Salem said in his address at the African ministerial conference on refugees in Khartoum that violations of human rights, fear of persecution and disasters caused by some individuals' actions are the main factors that lead to the refugee phenomenon.
Salem added that, "The African presidents must refrain from searching for scapegoats and concentrate internally to settle their problems."
The Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir urged the international community to increase its aid to avoid a disaster.
