Palestinian minister of environment warns against Israeli violations of human rights

Palestinian Minister of Environment Youssef Abu Safia warned of Israeli violations of Palestinian human rights in the domains of environment and water sources by getting rid of their dangerous and poisonous waste from military factories and industries inside the Palestinian territories.
He stated that waste of these sorts has been found in Gaza and the West Bank.
In statements to Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram, Abu Safia said that this illegal waste dumping could have serious effects on the Palestinian environment, either on land or on underground water tables.
Abu Safia added warned aginst the threat posed by Israeli factories to Israel's environment and to the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
