Baghdad wants stronger Arab position

Iraqi Minister of Justice Shabib al-Maliki expressed his hope today that the Arab states could begin to lift the international embargo imposed upon nations approval.
Al-Maliki in Cairo said that Iraq hopes that in the coming stage the Arab position can be more strongly worded than at the current time, saying "We aspire to begin the uplifting of the siege by Arab countries."
Al-Maliki stated that the Egyptian position toward the recent crisis between Iraq and the United Nations completely understands the situation. Al-Maliki accused the US of creating pretexts to continue the sanctions.
