Ebtekar: no resumption of Iranian - American relations

Iranian Vice President Masumeh Ebtekar ruled out the resumption of relations between her country and the US.
In press statements to ArabicNews.com on the margin of her participation in an international environmental conference in Cairo she said, "It is difficult to resume the relations between the two countries, especially because we see no seriousness from the American side."
Regarding Egyptian - Iranian relations, she said, "Relations with Egypt are improving, and it is probable to resume the relations soon," adding that there are "continuous meetings among the officials aim at resuming the relations beside the Iranian - Egyptian coordination for defusing the crisis between Turkey and Syria."
