Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Sunday bombarded several towns adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment targeted Wadi al-Hajir and the surroundings of the occupation positions in al-Qasir and al-Salaa.
The Israeli bombardment also targeted Muthalath Serbin. Several shells fell just a few meters from the position of the Nepalese contingent working within UNIFIL.
On Sunday morning Israeli warplanes flew over Western Bekaa areas. A bomb was dropped by Israeli planes on al-Kafir town, Hasbayya.
Lebanese resistance forces on Sunday attacked several Israeli positions in the central and western sectors and al-Tuffah district in the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese resistance sources said resistance groups attacked the occupation positions and fortifications in Sujoud, al-Radar, Beaufort, al-Qantara, al-Hardoun al-Qasir, Barachit and Hadatha. The Israeli fortifications were destroyed and several Israeli soldiers were killed or wounded.
The sources added on Sunday afternoon that Israeli forces escalated their aggressions against the towns of the central and western sectors and al-Tuffah district in south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the occupation troops bombarded the surroundings of Arab Salim, al-Zahrani river area, al-Rafe' mountain, the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan and al-Hamra farms, al-Sawanna district and Litani river area.
Farroun, al-Hajir, al-Salwqi valleys, Ita al-Jabal, Srbin, Zibqin, Kafra and al-Mansouri were also bombarded. The Israeli artillary bombardment was accompanied by mock raids by the Israeli warplanes which flew at low altitudes over the southern districts.
Further reports said the Lebanese resistance on Sunday attacked two Israeli positions in Rasha and Hamid. Lebanese resistance sources said one of its groups also attacked the Israeli occupation position in al-Debshe. The sources added that the resistance scored direct hits on the Israeli force.
On Saturday the Israeli occupation forces continued to launch attacks on the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said that Israeli artillery shelled al-Rafe mountain, the woods of Sujoud and al-Rayhan and Aqmata farm in the hilly areas of al-Tuffah district.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation troops reinforced their presence in the occupied area and advanced new units of armored vehicles and heavy artillery.
Moreover, caution prevailed in villages adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon, especially in the central sector, following recent threats launched by Israel against citizens of these villages. News reports from south Lebanon said farmers refrained from going to their farms to harvest crops, as well as shepherds who fear being exposed to Israeli intimidation and gunfire following the recent threats.
On Friday night through Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation artillery bombarded the outskirts of Zibqin, Yater, Kafra, Saddiqin and Jibal al-Butoum in the central sector. More than 100 shells were fired. The bombardment was accompanied by mopping up operations, using machine guns against neighboring valleys in the targeted areas.
