Incidents happened during election campaigns of the Syrian elections

Several notable incidents occured during the election campaigns of the Syrian Peoples' Assembly where in one, an independent candidate Lawyer Muhammad Zuheir Orbai (55), running for a seat in the 250-member Syrian People's Assembly, died of a heart attack while he was reading his election statement.

Also, A son of another candidate, Bassil Dahdouh, was killed by an electric shock while trying to mend the lighting of a campaigning center for his father.

Also, A tent for election campaigning installed by independent candidate Muhey eddine al-Habboush saved the life of a two-year old child when she fell down from the seventh floor of a building onto the roof of the tent.
