Morocco and Tunisia to step up higher education cooperation
Morocco-Tunisia, Politics, 11/25/1998

Ways of enhancing Moroccan-Tunisian partnership in matters of education and related sectors topped separate talks Tunisian higher education minister, Dali Jazi, held Tuesday in Rabat with Moroccan ministers of technical education and vocational training.

Talks covered the exchange of Moroccan and Tunisian educational expertise and stressed the need to adapt training to job market needs.

The importance and role of education in sustaining the socio-economic development were also tackled during the meetings.

The Tunisian official arrived Monday in Morocco on a several-day work visit destined to give a new momentum to the Moroccan-Tunisian cooperation in academic studies, university management, teachers training and syllabi designing.
