Palestinian - Egyptian discussions on the margin of opening Gaza airport

The Egyptian delegation participating in Palestinian celebrations of the opening of Gaza International Airport met with Palestinian writers, intellectuals, reporters and artists.
The meeting was also attended by Palestinian ministers.
Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat El-Sherif presented greetings from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and the Egyptian people to the Palestinian people.
El-Sherif said President Mubarak stressed that the first airplane arriving at Gaza International Airport should be Egyptian to represent Egypt's support of Palestinian rights out of its realization that the Palestinian cause is the cornerstone of a comprehensive and just peace in the area.
