Sudan for political pluralism
Sudan, Politics, 11/25/1998
Sudanese dailies published on Tuesday said the Sudanese parliament has adopted a law on political pluralism. The said law theoretically permits groups of 100 electors to form political parties, but under the conditions that the party's objectives comply with the Sudanese constitution. The new law abstained from using the word "parties." It used the word "organizations" instead.
