Israeli soldiers wounded as they continue attacks against south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces and their allied South Lebanon Army militia renewed their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of the western Bekaa.
Lebanese security sources said that Israeli artillery positioned on al-Shoureiki hill on Monday targeted Jabal al-Qatrani. The artillery bombardment coincided with heavy machine-gun fire against Zamraya crossing and the road leading to it from the SLA militia in the occupied part of the western Bekaa.
On Sunday night, and at dawn on Monday the occupation forces dropped illumination bombs along the line extending from a Kawkaba - Jabal al-Daher axis to the outskirts of al-Surira.
Meanwhile, SLA sources said that several Israeli and militia soldiers had been killed or wounded in the attacks carried out on Monday afternoon by Lebanese resistance forces. The Israeli daily Haaretz said that three Israeli soldiers were wounded, one critically. The attacks were directed against occupation troops' patrols and positions inside the occupied strip of south Lebanon.
The sources said the resistance attacked the occupation position of al-Dabsha. An Israeli soldier was killed and two Israeli soldiers were wounded.
Israeli warplanes extended on Monday their raids against areas in the north of the occupied strip of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli warplanes carried out raids against Aqmata farm, Jibaa, Lweiseh towns in al-Tuffah district and Nabatieyeh district.
Israeli helicopters carried out mopping-up operations in the woods of Sujoud and al-Rayhan. Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude and carried out provocative and mock raids.
Furthermore, Israeli opened fire on populated areas in the South. Security sources stated that three Lebanese civilians were wounded due to the Israeli artillery bombardment against Kfar Tibnin town in al-Nabatieh district.
On Monday afternoon, the Israeli heavy artillery shelled the palace of Ghandour in the city of al-Nabatieh and the woods of Ali al-Taher and Kfar Tibnin hills of al-Tuffah district, al-Hamra farm and al-Zahrani river area also came under Israeli fire.
In retaliation, Lebanese resistance forces carried out attacks against Israeli and SLA positions. The resistance forces attacked with heavy machine-gun fire and missiles the enemy positions in al-Dabsha, Ali al-Taher, Beaufort and al-Zafta.
