Two Moroccan ministers in France to consolidate business ties
Morocco-France, Economics, 11/23/1998

Two Moroccan ministers are currently visiting France in quest for closer cooperation between Moroccan and French small and medium enterprises.

Fathallah Oualalou, minister of economy and finance, and Ahmed Lahlimi, minister in charge of the government's general affairs, are to address this Monday some 200 French investors at a seminar at the Paris chamber of commerce and industry, organizers said.

The encounter deals with the new Moroccan economic and social context, the business and partnership opportunities offered by the Moroccan private sector.

Oualalou and Lahlimi's trip to Paris is part of the process launched during the recent official visit that Moroccan Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi paid to France.

During this visit, Morocco and France agreed to spare no efforts to ensure stronger commercial and economic cooperation.
